Green Acres (1965)

Premiering on CBS on September 15, 1965, this beloved sitcom was produced by Filmways and served as a companion piece to Petticoat Junction. Despite achieving solid ratings, it was canceled in 1971 during CBS's infamous "rural purge." The show has enjoyed a lasting legacy through syndication and various home media formats.
