Wallander (2005)

Swedish detective drama Wallander brings to life Henning Mankell's iconic character, portrayed by Krister Henriksson. The initial series, comprising 13 films produced in 2005 and 2006, features one adaptation from Mankell’s novels while the others are original tales inspired by his work. A second series of 13 films aired from 2009 to 2010, with the first episode, Hämnden, debuting in cinemas. The BBC showcased all 26 episodes on BBC Four. In 2013, a final season with six 90-minute episodes, including an adaptation of The Troubled Man, was released, marking the end of this gripping saga.
