The Glades (2010)

Jim, a disgraced Chicago police officer, finds himself ousted from the force after being falsely accused by his former captain of having an affair with the captain's wife. Following his settlement, he relocates to a quaint Florida town, eager to start anew. There, he joins the state police and immerses himself in a new life filled with crime-solving, local quirks, and the warm climate. As he navigates his past and the challenges of his new role, Jim discovers that starting over isn’t as simple as he hoped.
