Leonardo is a British children's adventure series that aired on CBBC, spotlighting a young Leonardo da Vinci, portrayed by Jonathan Bailey. Set against the vibrant backdrop of 15th-century Florence, the show combines historical intrigue with youthful exploits. The second season debuted on September 20, 2012, with the first two episodes airing consecutively. Notably, actor James Clyde took over the role of Piero de' Medici from Alistair McGowan in this season. Unfortunately, on January 21, 2013, it was confirmed that Leonardo would not return for a third season.
