SANDA (2025)

Set in a near-future Japan grappling with extremely low birthrates, children are highly valued yet closely observed. The figure of Santa has been outlawed due to perceived threats. On a snowy December 25th, Kazushige Sanda, a middle-schooler and heir to Santa's legacy, is confronted by his classmate Fuyumura, who pleads for his help in locating her missing friend, Ono. Responding to her call, Sanda resolves to embody Santa and take a stand against the oppressive adult society to safeguard the children.
