After death, social media profiles can turn into "ghost accounts," allowing the deceased to linger as digital apparitions. Soji Enishiro, desperate to cover his sister's medical expenses, unexpectedly discovers his ability for cyberkinesis and finds himself at Miden Academy, a hidden institution where spirit mediums learn to combat digital phantoms. To prevent the online realm of the afterlife from invading the physical world, Soji must quickly hone his newfound abilities.
