Gracia and Paloma come back to Las Sabinas to care for their father, Emilio. Gracia's reunion with her first love, Miguel, complicates matters, especially since he is now engaged to Esther. Paloma finds herself at odds with local landowner Paca Utrera, who harbors a dark secret linked to Emilio and has sinister intentions for the village.
