Daniel Boone captivated audiences from 1964 to 1970 with its thrilling action-adventure narrative, featuring Fess Parker in the titular role. Over 165 episodes on NBC, the show showcased Boone's exploits alongside his Cherokee friend Mingo, played by Ed Ames, for the first four seasons. Albert Salmi appeared as Boone's ally Yadkin in the inaugural season, while Dallas McKennon took on the role of the innkeeper Cincinnatus.
