Blood Ties (2007)

Blood Ties, a Canadian television adaptation of Tanya Huff's Blood Books, was crafted by Peter Mohan. Set against the backdrop of Toronto, the series follows a vampire who aids the police in solving crimes, reminiscent of the earlier show Forever Knight. It debuted in the U.S. on March 11, 2007, airing on Lifetime Television, and later premiered in Canada on Citytv and Space in the fall of the same year. Despite its unique premise and engaging characters, Lifetime opted not to renew the series in May 2008.
