Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut (2021)

A unique twist on the space race narrative, "Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut" follows a vampire girl as the world’s first astronaut. Set in the aftermath of World War II, the Federal Republic of Zirnitra and the United Kingdom of Arnack compete for supremacy in space exploration. In 1960, Gergiev, the leader of Zirnitra, announces Project Mechtat, seeking to achieve a manned space flight. Lev Leps, an astronaut candidate, is tasked with overseeing the "Nosferatu Project," which uses Irina Luminesk as a test subject. Amidst national rivalries, their bond deepens as they reach for the stars.
