Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 2199 (2013)

In the year 2199, humanity has been devastated by the Gamilos, forcing survivors into underground cities as they face impending doom. With scientists predicting just a year left for the human race, young officers Susumu Kodai and Daisuke Shima discover a mysterious capsule from a ship that made an emergency landing on Mars. Inside, they find a glimmer of hope: the technology needed to defeat the Gamilos lies on Iscandar, located beyond the Magellan Galaxy.
