Poison for the Fairies (1986)

Set against the backdrop of 1965 Mexico City, Flavia, a privileged but isolated schoolgirl, forms an unexpected bond with Veronica, a spirited orphan captivated by the world of witchcraft. As their friendship deepens, Veronica manipulates Flavia into believing she possesses genuine magical powers, compelling her to take on the role of an unwilling apprentice.
