Thunder Run (1985)

Nuclear terrorists are on the brink of jeopardizing America's atomic research, compelling truck driver Charlie Morrison (Forrest Tucker) to take drastic action. He agrees to a desperate plan to draw the criminals into a trap using a crucial shipment of bomb-grade plutonium as bait. As he speeds down a desolate desert highway, a well-armed gang closes in on him.
