The Curse of the Jade Scorpion (2001)

CW Briggs, an experienced insurance investigator known for his successes, finds himself at odds with the new office employee, Betty Ann Fitzgerald, who is tasked with reorganizing their workplace. Their mutual disdain seems clear—at least on the surface. However, during a company outing to see the magician Voltan, both Briggs and Fitzgerald are unknowingly hypnotized, leading to unexpected twists in their relationship and careers. As they navigate the chaos that follows, they discover more about each other than they initially believed possible, challenging their perceptions and sparking unforeseen connections.
