A Moment of Innocence (1996)

This film is a semi-autobiographical reflection on a pivotal moment in Makhmalbaf's life when, at just 17, he wounded a police officer during a protest. Now, twenty years later, he embarks on a journey to find the officer he harmed, seeking to reconcile with his past actions and make amends for the pain he caused.
