The Curse (1987)

Nathan Hayes, a devout farmer, struggles to maintain his land and keep his family united amid pressure from a real estate developer eager to acquire most of the property for a potential Tennessee Valley Authority dam site. During a violent storm, a mysterious, glowing object crashes onto the Hayes farm, unleashing a terrifying curse that plagues Nathan's family and the surrounding community. As supernatural forces wreak havoc, the Hayes must confront both the encroaching threat of development and the dark consequences of the otherworldly arrival.
