We Could Be King (2014)

For over 40 years, Germantown and Martin Luther King High Schools fiercely competed against each other. However, a severe budget crisis in Philadelphia led to the closure of 37 schools, including Germantown High, forcing the two rivals to merge. A first-time head coach, just 27 years old, along with a new principal, faces the daunting challenge of uniting these young men from tough backgrounds. Together, they strive to foster teamwork and resilience, guiding the students toward hope and a brighter future amidst adversity.
