National Theatre Live: The Importance of Being Earnest (2025)

Jack finds being responsible to be incredibly dull. Embracing the role of a reliable guardian in the countryside, he indulges in a more carefree existence in town under a different name. His friend Algy follows suit with his own disguise. However, juggling these two lives proves challenging, particularly when romance enters the picture. Eager to win over two charming women, the pair becomes entangled in a complicated web of deception that they must skillfully maneuver to avoid disaster.
