Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation (1962)

Banker Roger Hobbs envisions a peaceful getaway with his wife, Peggy, but she insists on a family trip to a dilapidated beach house in California. Their daughter, Katey, self-conscious about her braces, opts out of beach activities, while their son, Danny, is glued to the TV. The situation worsens when Hobbs' two estranged daughters and their husbands arrive, each bringing their own marital troubles. Amidst the chaos, Roger finds himself juggling family dilemmas, all while longing for a moment of tranquility during what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation.
