Come and See (1985)

When German troops invade his Byelorussian village, young Florya defies his family's pleas and heads into the forest to join Resistance fighters. Along the way, he encounters Glasha, a girl who decides to accompany him back home. However, upon their return, Florya is devastated to discover his family and neighbors have been brutally killed. As he navigates the horrors of war, his struggle for survival turns into a haunting journey, pitting his flickering hope against the overwhelming despair that surrounds him.
