The Caretaker (1964)

Aston, a solitary and introverted man, resides in a disheveled top-floor room of a dilapidated house in a struggling London neighborhood. He develops a bond with Mac Davies, a down-and-out former café worker, and offers him a position as the house's caretaker. However, Aston's brother Mick, a cruel and mocking figure, creates tension by bullying Mac whenever Aston is absent, undermining his authority and complicating their fragile dynamic.
