Stromboli (1950)

In the aftermath of World War II, a young Lithuanian woman finds herself swept away by romance and marries a local Italian man from the island of Stromboli. However, the realities of married life in this isolated community prove to be far more challenging than she anticipated, leading her to question her choices and the life she has embraced.
