Gamera: Guardian of the Universe (1995)

When a vessel runs aground on an enigmatic atoll, insurance agent Kusanagi is called to investigate. He uncovers an ancient bead, which he gifts to his daughter, Asagi. Simultaneously, ornithologist Nagamine looks into sightings of a newly identified massive bird species, Gyaos.
