Spring Meeting (1941)

Tiny Fox-Collier and her son, Tony, find themselves in dire financial straits. Charming and optimistic, Tony turns to his mother for a clever solution. Tiny's plan involves a trip to the picturesque Irish estate of her former lover, Sir Richard Furze, a now-wealthy widower with two daughters. Eager for Tony to wed the elegant but proud Joan, Tiny's hopes clash with her son's affections, which are directed toward Joan's vivacious younger sister, Baby.
