Where the Wild Things Are (2009)

Max, feeling misunderstood by his mother, escapes to a fantastical realm inhabited by enormous, expressive creatures named Ira, Carol, Douglas, Judith, and Alexander. Upon his arrival, they enthusiastically crown him king, leading to playful adventures filled with fort-building, wild rumpus, and the thrill of hidden secrets.
