Escape from the Outland (2025)

Ma Xiao, a foreign correspondent, and Pan Wenjia, a volunteer doctor, join engineer Miao Feng for a trip to the outskirts to fix a base station. Unexpectedly, their journey takes a dangerous turn when they are kidnapped by an extremist group. During their captivity, they encounter Zhou Weijie, a businessman from abroad. To increase their chances of survival, the group plots a daring escape amid the violence and turmoil surrounding them.
