Zatoichi and the Doomed Man (1965)

Blind swordsman Zatoichi finds himself in a precarious situation when a fellow inmate begs for help to prove his innocence before facing execution. Initially hesitant to engage, aware of the dangers that often accompany such entanglements, Zatoichi can't escape the unfolding drama that pulls him deeper into the case. As circumstances unfold, he begins to trust the man's claims of innocence and resolves to take action to secure his freedom, despite the risks involved.
