Julie Cohen
Julie Cohen is a celebrated director and producer who has earned both an Academy Award® nomination and an Emmy Award for her impactful work in documentary filmmaking. She is best known for co-directing the acclaimed film RBG (2018) alongside Betsy West, which chronicles the life and legacy of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. In collaboration with West, Cohen also directed Julia (2021), a film that explores the life of culinary icon Julia Child, and My Name is Pauli Murray (2021), which highlights the groundbreaking contributions of the civil rights activist and lawyer Pauli Murray.
