Sasha Waddell, born in Italy and raised in Sussex, embarked on her artistic journey by studying English Literature at Durham University, followed by training at the Drama Studio London. Her dynamic career in theatre has seen her take on a variety of compelling roles.

Currently, Sasha is performing in the production of *Fallen Angels* at the English Theatre in Vienna. She recently celebrated the Noël Coward centenary in the UK, portraying Priscilla in the revival of *The Young Idea* at Chester Gateway. Additionally, she captivated audiences as Amanda in *Private Lives* at Margate Theatre Royal.

Her impressive theatre resume includes notable performances in *Lady Windermere's Fan* at Chichester Festival Theatre, *Duet For One* with Gateway Theatre Company, and the innovative production of *The Winter's Tale* in the art deco Spiegeltent for Creation Theatre Company in Oxford. Sasha has also appeared in *Much Ado About Nothing* with the Albion Shakespeare Company, starred in Bergman’s *Scenes From a Marriage*, and participated in the UK premiere of *Equiano*.

On screen, Sasha portrayed British agent Naomi Russell in the BBC1 drama *Julian Fellowes Investigates: The Case of the Earl of Erroll*, and played notable roles in the film *People’s Princess* and Channel 4's documentary *Krakatoa*. Her television credits also include *A Lump in My Throat* (BBC2) and *England, My England* (Channel 4).

Sasha's first experience in Vienna was in 1996 while touring with the Royal Shakespeare Company in *Twelfth Night*, and she is thrilled to return to this enchanting city.
