Zhang Ming'en

Zhang Ming’en launched his acting career in 2016 after graduating from the Central Academy of Drama. During his school years and early college life, he took on minor roles in short films and a sitcom before breaking through with his debut as Adjutant Zhang Rishan in the tomb-raiding drama *The Mystic Nine*. The character proved so popular that Zhang later headlined its spin-off, *Tiger Bones Plum Blossom*. In 2017, he joined the critically acclaimed mystery fantasy series *Tientsin Mystic*, further cementing his reputation. He reprised his role as Zhang Rishan in 2018’s *Tomb of the Sea*, another spin-off from *The Mystic Nine*, earning widespread praise from audiences. That same year, he took on his first leading role as the male protagonist in the romance supernatural drama *Destiny’s Love*.

Continuing his upward trajectory, Zhang starred in the 2019 television series *Nice to Meet You*, the sequel to the hit drama *Because of You*. He also appeared that year in the fantasy series *L.O.R.D. Critical World*. Known for his nuanced performances in supernatural and adventure genres, Zhang Ming’en has become a recognizable face in Chinese web dramas, with his portrayal of Zhang Rishan standing as a career-defining highlight.
