Zachary John Quinto, born on June 2, 1977, is a prominent American actor and film producer. He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Sylar in the acclaimed series *Heroes* (2006–2010) and for his role as Spock in the *Star Trek* film franchise, appearing in *Star Trek* (2009), *Star Trek Into Darkness* (2013), and *Star Trek Beyond* (2016). Additionally, Quinto has portrayed Charlie Manx in the AMC series *NOS4A2* and earned an Emmy Award nomination for his performance as Dr. Oliver Thredson in *American Horror Story: Asylum*.

Quinto's television career began with a role in the short-lived series *The Others*, and he made guest appearances on various shows such as *CSI*, *Touched by an Angel*, *Charmed*, *Six Feet Under*, *Lizzie McGuire*, and *L.A. Dragnet*. In 2003, while performing in Samuel Beckett's *Endgame* at the Odyssey Theatre in Los Angeles, he secured a recurring role as computer expert Adam Kaufman on Fox's *24*.

In 2006, he portrayed Sasan, Tori Spelling's flamboyant best friend, in *So NoTORIous*, and later that year, he joined *Heroes* as the infamous Gabriel Gray. He co-founded Before the Door Pictures in 2008, producing various projects and even a graphic novel series. Quinto starred in the independent film *Margin Call* (2011), which was nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. His stage work includes performances in Shakespeare's *Much Ado About Nothing* and a lead role in the Broadway production *The Boys in the Band* (2018).
