Jo Enright is a talented English stand-up comedian and actress, recognized for her dynamic performances across various television and radio comedy shows. Her notable appearances include roles in popular series such as The Job Lot, Life's Too Short, and Trollied.

Enright's journey in comedy began with her debut at the Edinburgh Festival in 1995 as part of The West Midlands Serious Comedy Squad. She gained wider recognition in 2002, featuring alongside Steve Coogan in the iconic BBC series I'm Alan Partridge, where she portrayed a tax inspector. Her versatility shone through in 2005 with her role in the BBC Radio 4 show The Ape that Got Lucky, alongside Chris Addison. A year later, she showcased her comedic talent in the satirical series Time Trumpet on BBC Two, playing herself as a future commentator.

In 2008, Enright took on the role of Jackie, a wheelchair user, in the parody Britain's Got the Pop Factor... and Possibly a New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly on Ice, which humorously critiqued reality talent shows. She also portrayed "Carol" in the fifth and sixth series of BBC Three's Ideal and appeared as Sue, the estranged wife of Warwick Davis, in Life's Too Short.

From 2013 to 2015, Enright played the role of Angela Bromford, a diligent job center worker, in the ITV2 series The Job Lot. More recently, in 2022, she made a guest appearance as Vera in the third season of Ricky Gervais's After Life, further solidifying her status in the comedy scene.
