**Zoë Coombs Marr Biography**

Zoë Coombs Marr is a multifaceted Australian performer, writer, artist, and comedian, hailing from Grafton. In her youth, she and a close friend opted to create a musical instead of participating in the traditional schoolies week celebration, showcasing her early passion for performance.

With an impressive career in stand-up comedy, Zoë has graced stages across Australia, London, and New York. Her acclaimed solo show, *Trigger Warning*, garnered significant recognition, winning the 2016 Melbourne Comedy Festival Award for Most Outstanding Show, along with the Golden Gibbo and two Green Room Awards. It also received nominations for Best Show at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and for the 2017 Victorian Premier’s Literary Award for Drama.

Zoë earned a double degree in Performance Studies from UNSW and Fine Arts from COFA in 2008, securing the Dinosaur Designs Prize and the Art and Australia Award. Her artistic endeavors extend to video and sculpture, with exhibitions at notable venues like First Draft and Kudos. In 2006, she triumphantly claimed the National Poetry Slam Championships under questionable circumstances.

Notable theatrical works include *And That Was The Summer That Changed My Life*, which won the Philip Parsons Young Playwright Award, and her ensemble piece *Is This Thing On?*, featured at Belvoir Theatre in 2014.
